I.B.A - International Bodyguard Association

Founded in Paris, December of 1957 by Lucien Victor Ott, Veteran Legionaire. His grandfather was killed in the First World War, distincted in battles.

His father, exceptional military man, he belonged in the army's elite.

Lucien enlisted in the Foreigns' Legion, where he volunteered to serve in Indochina. He was one of the brave volunteers who parachuted in Dien Bien Phu, where he was injured and captured as a member of the French army, and while he was serving in Algeria, he founded I.B.A., under the surveillance of general de Monssabert.

Lucien's method for modern Bodyguarding was tought and used in Royal, Presidential, Diplomatic guard, police and army forces all over the world.

George Georgiou, at the age of 20 and for 10 years is involved with bodyguarding and anti-terrorism. He becomes a member of I.B.A. (International Bodyguards Association). He is visiting England and countries of the former Soviet Union many times for training which involved explosives, anti-terrorist war tactics, training in various weapons, snipper weapon training, first aid, defensive / offensive driving, electronic surveillance, unarmed combat, conflict with terrorists in various scenarios, etc.

From the association's leader Baron James Short, he receives the titles of Instructor, National Organiser and National Director of Greece. He also receives the Level 2 instructor silver badge title.

He has guarded foreign presidents, organised bodyguarding seminars and has trained army and police forces all over Europe. He has also tought bodyguard techniques all over the world:

  • Bodyguard team: organisation and function.
  • Protective escort: formations and drills.
  • Protective driving: defensive, evasive, offensive methods.
  • Communications and electronic - counter surveillance.
  • Improvised explosive devices: search and recognition.
  • Close-quarter-battle: firearms - unarmed combat.
  • Paramedicine. 

    George Georgiou has been to many anti-terrorist war "Schools", weapons, counter sniper, especially in countries of the eastern block, such as former Soviet Union, Latvia.
